  • Use a smaller amount than usual, our sheabutter is a concentrate. The solid skincare bar will melt in contact with your skin. It will absorb, be patient or use less next time. Keep out of eyes.

  • Check the shop or send us your custom order. Your batch will be individually handcrafted on demand to naturally prolong shelf life and avoid the necessity for additives.

  • It is the symbiosis of matter and energy. WAVE stands for the energy being used in creation. CAKE describes the physical form or structure of the product as well as the process of making it. Together they form WAVECAKE. Sustainable products made with love.

  • You'll find them on every product label. Nothing more nothing less. We only use real, organic, foodgrade, plantbased ingredients. No additives, preservatives, synthetic scents or non Organic / Demeter compounds. Check the Skincare Page for more info.

  • If stored cool and away from sunlight, your product will be good for at least a year from opening. This way no preservatives or additives are needed. Your WAVECAKE will smell like a fresh flower. Keep refrigerated if not in use or during hotter months. Temperature sensitivity is common and for products without synthetic stabilizers and chemicals.

  • If you are allergic to an essential oil, you can custom order a product without them. This is also an option for children because our scent relies on a high content of essential oils. If you are allergic to any other ingredient please do not use the product. If you are unsure, you can try them on a small non visible skin area. Keep out of eyes.

Essential Oils

The best quality essential oils are used in our creations from candles to cremes. We decided to use only organic and foodgrade scents approved for human intake and aromatherapy. These naturally water distilled oils are sourced locally if possible.

Almond Oil

Made from sun ripe cold pressed sweet almonds, this organic oil is known for it’s skin calming nature and found in many traditional anti aging recipes. This oil provides lots of moisture without clogging your pores and has a medium absorption rate.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is pressed from the nut like fruit of a desert tree. It is known for its wound healing properties and high Vitamin E content. Jojoba oil is really a wax, that doesn’t go rancid which prolongs shelf life naturally. It has a fast absorption rate and a mild nutty scent that pairs well.

Sheabutter

Organic sheabutter will provide extra moisture for all skin types. We don’t use factory refined sheabutter to avoid toxic chemicals. This natural butter is made from organic african berries and purified by only hot water vapor to eliminate the use of chemicals.

Beeswax

Beeswax acts as a natural barrier from the environment while moisturizing your skin. Its high Vitamin A content will help to prevent wrinkles and keep the skin elastic. It’s tradtionally known as a remedy for skin irritation. The beeswax we use is all organic and locally sourced.

Soywax

Sustainable Soywax is a great alternative to petroleum based wax used in common candles. To avoid toxic fumes in your home while burning, it’s best to use a natural base for your candle. Soywax is also a neutral vegan alternative to beeswax.

How long is the wait?

Your order is shipped as soon as possible and will take about 3-4 business days to arrive. All our products are handmade and depend on local availabilty of their ingredients. We use DHL for shipping within the EU.

International Shipping? 

We ship to most EU countries. Go to checkout to see if your country is available. If not, contact us for a rate. Shipping outside the EU is not available at this moment.

Returns? 

All our items are individually handmade on demand and therefore all sales are final. Of course we want you to be happy. Do not hesitate to contact us via the contact form, if there is something wrong with your order.
